Materials Needed:
- Large pumpkin (Pumpkin baskets)
- Small handheld bean bags
- Masking tape or chalk (to mark the throwing line)
How to Play:
Simply position the basket on the ground, then have the players stand back an appropriate distance and toss a bean bags into it.
Set Up:
- Choose a spacious and safe area for the game.
- Place the pumpkin on the ground.
- Use any cardboard to label the pumpkins, indicating their points.
- Use masking tape or chalk to mark a throwing line several feet away from the pumpkin.
Rules:
- Each seniors stands behind the throwing line.
- Seniors take turns tossing bean bags towards the pumpkin’s opening.
Scoring:
- Assign points to different sections of the pumpkin opening based on difficulty (higher points for smaller openings).
- If a bean bag successfully lands inside the pumpkin, the player earns the designated points.
Winning:
The player with the highest accumulated points after a set number of rounds or a specific time wins.
